All OH&S Consulting training is performed face to face at your premises or a Training Venue can be arranged (at an additional fee).

 

Course Intention: 

The course is intended to assist all personnel in the recognition of fatigue, the causes of fatigue and strategies to manage fatigue.

 

All attendees will receive a certificate of attendance.

 
Learning Objectives & Outcomes: 

By the end of the course/workshop participants will be able to:

  • Define & explain the causes of fatigue.

  • Recall & maintain a working knowledge of the legislative references & Company Standards that relate to fatigue management workplace.

  • Understand how to manage the risk of fatigue.

  • Implement a fatigue management

  • What is fatigue and understanding the body clock.

  • Duty of care.

  • Fatigue and working hours code of practice.

  • Fitness for work policy and procedures.

  • Work environment - repetition, heat stress, fine detail work.

  • Medical conditions.

  • Work/rest/sleep.

  • Personal lifestyle, sleep debt and managing sleep.

  • Fatigue indicators.

  • The role of sleep.

  • Health effects (cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, sleep disorders)
