DMP Release New "Know Your Hazards" Videos - Down to Earth
The Department of Mines and Petroleum have released two new videos from their Know Your Hazards series. The two new videos are focusing on falls from height, called “Down to Earth”.
The first video, Falling From Height, explains why falls from height can have serious outcomes, challenges the “safe” heights paradigm and shows the effect on the human body falls can have. This video also explains the maths behind gravity, force and acceleration.
The second video, Impact of Falling, shows the consequences and social ramifications that a fall from height can have.
This is a great resource to use for safety meetings or toolbox talks.
