All OH&S Consulting training is performed face to face at your premises or a Training Venue can be arranged (at an additional fee).

 

Course Intention: 

This course is intended for all personnel in the workplace, it would be highly recommended for managers and supervisory staff to motivate employees to build a positive safety culture in the work environment.

 

All attendees will receive a certificate of attendance.

 

Learning Objectives & Outcomes: 

Upon completion of this course participants should be able to:

• Recall factors that influence safety behaviour.

• Examine employees’ safety behaviour and techniques to enhance their safety perception and performance.

• Discuss how to build a positive safety culture in the workplace.

 

Course Contents: 

• Accident and incident causation.

• Factors that influence Safety Behaviour (risk perception, attitude, environmental factors, individual skills and knowledge).

• Safety and Behavioural Change techniques – Case examples.

• Measuring safety behaviour: Perception Surveys.

• Employee and Contractor motivation.

• Building and maintaining a positive safety culture.
