All OH&S Consulting training is performed face to face at your premises or a Training Venue can be arranged (at an additional fee).

 
Course Intention: 

Outline and describe the duty of care responsibilities as they apply at the workplace.

 

All attendees will receive a certificate of attendance.

 

Learning Objectives & Outcomes: 
  • Recall the key legislative document’s pertinent to the company operation/s.

  • Discuss the importance of integrating OSH issues into the business operation.

  • Develop and apply an OSH framework in the workplace.

 

Course Contents: 
  • Duty of Care, Act, Regulations, Codes of Practice and Australian Standards, requirements – implications to the business.

  • Integrating OSH into the Business.

  • Management of Health and Safety in the Workplace through a Safety Management System.

  • Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control for critical job tasks.

  • Contractor and employee management.

  • Safety and Health Representatives and Safety and Health Committees’

  • Notification of Injury / Disease.

  • Workers Compensation Management.

  • Insurance Requirements.

  • Record Keeping.
