Fitness for Work Training

Course Duration:

Options for 2/4/ 8 hours

 

Course Location: 

All OH&S Consulting training is performed face to face at your premises or a Training Venue can be arranged (at an additional fee).

 

Course Intention: 

To provide key personnel with the necessary skills to effectively identify and participate in Hazard Management implementation within exploration operations.

 

All attendees will receive a certificate of attendance.

 

Learning Objectives & Outcomes: 

Upon completion of this course participants should be able to:

  • Understand what is Fitness for Work (FFW) and the four main categories that make up FFW.

  • Understand the nature of FFW issues.

  • Have immediate familiarity with the business FFW Policy and supporting procedures.

  • Apply strategies for addressing FFW issues in the workplace.

  • Have a working knowledge of supporting personnel/agencies to assist in FFW Management and when to call upon their assistance.

  • Understand confidentiality requirements associated with FFW issues.

 

Course Contents: 

  • Fitness for Work paradigm.

  • The 4 Pillars of Fitness for Work.

  • Employer Obligations.

  • Signs and symptoms of FFW issues, potential causes and workplace risk.

  • Strategies for addressing FFW issues in the Workplace.

  • What must an organisation do to ensure implementation success?

  • Issues to be appropriately dealt with during planning.

  • The Business FFW Policy and Supporting Procedures.

  • Characteristics of successful FFW Programs.

  • Internal and External resources.
